The Zlatna koza-Capra d'oro (Golden Goat) is an annual prize awarded by the Istria Tourist Board for exceptional contribution in the field of tourist promotion of Istria. The Zlatna koza-Capra d'oro Award was established in 1994. It has been awarded in five categories since 2011.

Istria welcomes the tourist season 2014 with yet another flight route – from 19 April until 31 October the Ireland's national air carrier Aer Lingus will connect Dublin and Pula twice a week, on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

It's front page is dedicated to the great event of Croatia's accession to the European Union - from the 1st of July Croatia becomes the 28th member of the European family.

The accession of Croatia into the European Union will be marked in almost all Istrian towns and cities that are planning a rich program and the festivity is planned on the border passing of Plovanija.

Since it is set to join the European Union on 1 July 2013, Croatia’s visa policy is fully harmonized with that of the EU as of 1 April.

Again this year, Istria Tourist Board in collaboration with the Istrian County Administrative Department for Tourism and Vinistra - the association of winemakers and winegrowers of Istria organize the 'Open Wine Cellar Day' event traditionally held on the last Sunday in May.
