Lonely Planet writes about Istria again - just as it was listed among the 10 most interesting destinations for 2011., the Istrian cape Kamenjak appeared these days on a list of ten secluded beaches of the Mediterranean that this guide, one of the most respected in the world, recommends on its website.

The list includes, among others, Spain Cabo de Gata, French Banylus, Cala Gonone in Sardinia and the peninsula Luštica in Montenegro.

Lonely Planet lists it as a peaceful countryside of exceptional natural beauty, where it is still possible to enjoy the solitude and find a piece of beach for yourself.

Cape Kamenjak is described as a wild beauty situated in the south of Pula, a cult following among the visitors of the Croatian beaches with the feeling that you are in the "end of the world."

Lonely Planet underlines his status of a protected reserve, and among its attributes the intact nature and a crystal clear blue-green sea, sandy coves, wild vegetation and dusty trails. Recommends also the beach-bar for socializing and entertainment.
