The Travvy Awards ceremony was held on January 23rd in New York city where Croatia received awards in three diffrent categories - silver for best European destination, bronze for best destination in the world and silver for best European tourist destination, an award which went to the Croatia Tourism Board.
Gold and bronze for best European destination went to Greece and England respectively. The golden award for best world destination went to Australia, silver to Barbados, while Switzerland got the golden medal for best European tourism destination.

This is great news for Croatia especially since the awards have been based on 120.000 votes (the biggest number of independent American tourist intermediaries).
The purpose of Travvy Awards is to acknowledge the best examples of excellence and achievement in tourism industry.
The acknowledgements go to National Tourism Organizations, destinations, tourism intermediaries, products etc.
