FREE CONCERT BY AMERICAN MUSIC ABROAD

The American musical sensation American Music Abroad is coming to Croatia to hold a concert in Poreč on July 11th at Square slobode at 9:30 PM. Admission to the concert is free.

American Music Abroad is an organization of American academic musicians that has been delighting audiences worldwide for over 40 years. This symphony ensemble, which includes 41 members, and a concert choir of 40 members, have visited the major cities of Europe and performed in the most famous concert halls around the world. Together, they will perform works by classical composers as well as pieces from the stages of the famous Broadway. In addition, the repertoire includes works by American folk authors and, of course, contemporary American classical music composers.

As part of their sixteen-day Liberty Tour 2024, they will visit several European countries: Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, and Croatia. The performers are music students from twenty music schools from the states of Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey, and Ohio in the USA, organized into several ensembles.

They have traveled the world, especially Europe, performing, and critics have praised their performances as inspired renditions with pure sound, full of dedication to technical and expressive precision in their music-making. Obviously talented and full of enthusiasm for the music they create and perform, the members of American Music Abroad and Adriatic DMC invite you to join them and partake in this musical adventure.
