Museum Night

The theme of this year's museum night, which is held on February 1, is Innovation and the Digital Future. This year too, the National Museum of Labin is part of this manifestation that has become a cultural hit event throughout Croatia. Visit one of the most unusual museums in Croatia located in Labin Old town, in the baroque palace of Battiala-Lazzarini.

The most attractive part of the museum is located in the basement where a replica of a mining shaft resembles the rich past of the local mines and for which Lonley Planet guide listed the National Museum of Labin among the 10 most original museums in Croatia. The public will be presented with the experience of using digital technology in the work of museums. Modern technology enables innovative and creative presentation and interpretation and greater availability of museum content through digital platforms, mobile applications and VR headset. Thanks to the usage of new technologies, museums are becoming more attractive and provide the public with an experience of research, education and entertainment.
