Summer atmosphere with music and local traditions
The small Riviera square, directly in front of the Batana House, at the very beginning of the Great Pier, has been recognized since the beginning as a great space for holding various events and programs of the Batana Ecomuseum in the open air, due to its spatial and scenic beauty. The experience is further enriched by programs that celebrate the gastronomic, musical and maritime culture of Rovinj.
Thus, from the beginning of June until the end of September, on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, along with concerts of traditional Rovinj music, visitors are offered gastronomic specialties prepared by members of the "House of Batana" Association. In addition to ethno-scenes, film screenings about Rovinj's past and present are also occasionally held, and visitors can observe and try out the skills of mending nets, as well as braiding bottles and fish traps.
