Exhibition: Neglected forms
The works of Petar Šćulac thematize the architecture of the city of Pula as a layered story of time, space, and social neglect, with a particular focus on abandoned and decaying structures. The series of visual installations combines modern materials such as metal mesh and concrete.
Images within wooden frames that evoke the harshness and weight of neglected buildings are projected onto the wall as their negatives. Light, as a key element of each installation, projects the negative image onto the wall, creating a dynamic interplay of light and shadow.
Petar Šćulac was born in Pula, where he continues to live and create. From an early age, he showed an interest in drawing and creative work, which led him to pursue art as a lifelong vocation.
