Youth Symphony Orchestra
On Wednesday, May 28th, a concert by the Da Capo Youth Symphony Orchestra from Germany will be held on the main city square from 3:00 PM.
The youth symphony orchestra “Da Capo” was founded in August 2008 and consists of around 45 musicians with an average age of 16y. With the instrumentation of a classical-romantic symphony orchestra, the repertoire ranges from baroque serenades to classical and romantic works to current film music. Performances in the local Saale-Orla district in Thuringia, but also in Romania, Prague and Italy have characterized the past years. The conductor is Mr. Daniel Vlad.
