Valfontane
This is a small village, known for its small church dedicated to St Lawrence, which stands aloof in the nearby fields. The spot for the erection of the church was very likely chosen due to the vicinity of several springs. The existence of a shrine in this place was documented as early as 800 years ago. The facade owes its particular aspect to the little hanging arches on top. The bell was made in 1597. Inside the church, the altar contains a painting depicting the patron saint. The Mass is said only a couple of times a year.
