Open water diving course for beginners

The only way to peek into the mystical world of the Istrian undersea, its secrets and beautiful life forms inhabiting it and hiding in its depths is to dive into it.

However, to swim freely in the depths of the sea, it is first necessary to learn how to dive. The  open water diving course for beginners consists of two parts, a theoretical and a practical one. First, there is theoretical introduction along with all necessary didactic materials. It is followed by a practical part including water exercises and a dive to a depth of 12 to a max of 20 metres.

As the diving course is conducted in line with the Rules of the International Diving Associations, having competed his/her training, a student is awarded the international scuba diver brevet and becomes an Open Water Diver.

The duration of the entire open water diving course for beginners is 4-5 days. The minimum age limit ranges from 10 to 14 years of age, which depends on a diving centre.
