Agro biological properties
Medium size and vigour, with erect branches and tight foliage with leafless branches. Fruit bearing branches are short with short internodes. Leaves are short and tapered. Mostly heterogamous (bearing two different types of flowers).
Resistance to adversities
Resists bacterial olive knot and trunk rot. Sensitive to sooty mould, peacock (or eye) spot (spilocea oleagina) and Rhynchites cribipennis.
Quality of the oil
Clear and spicy, with intense and delicate bitterness and a hint of sweetness.
