Details:
Clai is a well-known name to lovers of Istrian wine, but the farm also produces extra virgin olive oil with the same respect for the territory and the same passion that the descendants have inherited from their founder Giorgio. The beautiful estate is situated in the little village of Krasica and includes almost 5 hectares of olive grove with 1,600 trees of a wide range of cultivars.
The Flos Olei Guide (2024) recommends the Extra Virgin Terrebianche from Organic Farming, which has a beautiful intense limpid golden yellow colour with delicate green hues. Its aroma is full and rotund, rich in vegetal hints of artichoke and wild chicory, together with fragrant notes of mint and rosemary. Its taste is ample and fine, with a flavour of lettuce and notes of almond. Bitterness and pungency are present and complimentary, with a sweet finish.
