Golf Adriatic part of the exclusive golfing elite: PGA National
Golf Adriatic, part of the luxury Kempinski Hotel Adriatic resort, has joined the exclusive world-class portfolio as PGA National Croatia
The Professional Golf Association (PGA) has a rich history and an important role in the world of golf. Founded in 1901, it was the first professional golf organization in the world. Its primary goal is to support members and promote the love of golf around the world. As well as hosting an impressive 400 PGA tournaments for its members each year, the PGA is also instrumental in creating some of golf's most prestigious competitions such as the Ryder Cup and is the proud holder of Royal Patronage.
Being part of PGA National is a mark of excellence, as bearing the PGA brand means striving for the highest standards in golf.
With a limit of only one national candidate per country, the PGA ensures exclusivity and enables the organization of tournaments on an international level. The PGA continues to strengthen its portfolio of branded facilities in Europe with the announcement of a new PGA National in Croatia: as part of the luxury Kempinski Hotel Adriatic resort, Golf Adriatic proudly joins the exclusive world-class portfolio as PGA National for Croatia.
Golf Adriatic boasts a challenging course of 6,360 metres located over 80 hectares. The competition course features 18 holes with a par 72. The course features an interesting layout that challenges players of all skill levels, and utilizes the natural environment to create a unique and memorable golf experience. This professional golf course was designed by DI. Diethard Fahrenleitner and Barbara Eisserer, winners of the prestigious Austrian Golf Art Landscape award.
The general manager of Kempinski Hotel Adriatic, Željko Stašević, expressed his delight by saying: "We are honoured that Golf Adriatic has become the PGA National for Croatia, representing the highest standards of golfing excellence. This achievement is testament to our commitment in providing exceptional golfing experiences for our guests, so we look forward to continuing to improve our offer with the support of the PGA.”
Richard Barker, Executive Director of PGA Business Development, expressed his delight that they are adding PGA National Croatia to their exclusive collection of premium branded PGA National facilities and said: "We are extremely happy to add PGA National Croatia to our exclusive group of world-renowned facilities with the PGA National label. Golf Adriatic has firmly established itself as the centrepiece of the entire resort and we look forward to promoting this location among PGA members around the world."
The luxury resort includes the Golf Adriatic and the five-star category Kempinski Hotel Adriatic, which offers golfers a unique escape from everyday life and an unforgettable experience.
