Stancija Collis

Rovinj-Rovigno

Stancija Collis was founded back in 1988 by the Mastilović family. Carmen and Mirko dreamed of crafting a tranquil haven amidst untouched nature, a retreat from the demands of daily life where they could immerse themselves in the beauty of the world.

Stancija Collis is located on a charming hill, and its name comes from the Latin word for hill. From Stancija, there is an attractive view of the entire Rovinj archipelago that extends all the way to Brijuni. Initially, the family planted a small vineyard and olive grove for their own needs, not expecting that their son Juraj would fall in love with winemaking and continue to develop Stancija Collis into what it is today. Perched on a picturesque hill, Stancija Collis derives its name from the Latin word for hill. From this enchanting vantage point, one can gaze upon the captivating expanse of the Rovinj archipelago, stretching all the way to the distant Brijuni.

Juraj graduated in winemaking at the Poreč Institute and has diligently learned and gathered knowledge from various wineries, ranging from Istria to New Zealand. In 2015, he completed his first independent harvest from the existing vineyards at Stancija Collis, which have since expanded significantly. They are present on the market with six wine labels, among which two labels of Istrian Malvasia stand out: Malvažija and Vita, the elegant Rose, and the excellent blend of red varieties, Trinitas. The tranquillity of Stancija Collis is also enjoyed by numerous animals, notably the Istrian donkey, whose medicinal milk is also offered.
