Organum Histriae

The 25th Organum Histriae jubilee continues at its most important venue, Sveti Lovreč Pazenatički, on 15 September at 8pm. We're delighted to welcome back LJERKA OČIĆ, the project's first artistic director in 1998, who is one of Croatia's most prominent musicians. This is the first time that Nakić's organ from 1735 will have another ''solo stop'', the bassoon. The eminent and most important bassoonist in this region, ŽARKO PERIŠIĆ, will join forces with his colleague Očić to show the full potential of this instrument, which is often seen only as an orchestral instrument.

This dynamic duo is here to shatter all stereotypes about organ concerts and baroque music. They've put together an intriguing and distinctive programme just for the audience in Sveti Lovreč, creating an unique experience in the stunning setting of the oldest Istrian Romanesque basilica, St. Martin.

Don't miss out on this unusual event and the chance to hear the oldest functional organ in Istria!

Admission is free!
