Croatian Defenders House
Navy casino intended for entertainment of the Austrian officers and their families was built in 1872 and designed by Vienna architect L. Baumann while the representative palace was expanded only 40 years later. The main hall called 'the winter garden' with double groove like Doric pillars leaning against the glass ceiling led to the halls intended for concerts and balls, that is, the terrace, garden and the surrounding park where even today numerous cultural manifestations and public events are held.
