Another positive performance for Giuseppe Lupieri, who confirms his position in the Flos Olei Guide (2024) proposing a good product to the Flos Olei panel. Since 2009 he has been running a big farm, situated in the favourable district of Vodnjan. The estate includes 30 hectares of specialized olive grove with 7,000 trees.
The selection proposed to the Flos Olei panel is the very good Extra Virgin Cadenela - For Meat from Organic Farming, which has a beautiful intense limpid golden yellow colour with slight green hues. Its aroma is definite and rotund, rich in vegetal hints of artichoke, lettuce and celery, together with fresh notes of basil, mint and rosemary. Its taste is exuberant and complex, with a fruity flavour of unripe tomato and white apple and a finish of black pepper and almond. Bitterness is powerful and pungency is distinct and harmonic.
